Red Shed is able to provide emergency vet treatments with the funds raised:

Safe evacuations for animals were able to be carried out with vehicles purchased by Red Shed.

Displaced animals who were abandoned or stranded were able to be collected, treated immediately and brought to a safe shelter.

All vehicles were kitted out with safe crates, emergency supplies and food for sick animals.

Many shelters were badly hit with food supplies to feed all of the incoming animals.

We were able to bring food to different shelters across various borders to help them keep their supplies from running low.

It was hugely appreciated by all shelter managers who struggled to feed the amount of animals. 

Funds went to the evacuation services in helping healthy animals cross borders to new shelters for rehoming.

All animals received the proper documentation to allow them to travel across countries to safer areas:

Many war-wounded animals arrived scared, frightened and missing their own environment.

Where dogs could not brought back, Red Shed helped to rehome them across Italy, Austria, Netherlands and UK.

Barney was one of the lucky ones to get rehomed.

Temporary shelter was needed to house all of the animals both in Ukraine and at the borders.

Red Shed's next phase is to help rebuild/construct permanent Red Shed shelters.

These will be homes for animals that cannot be rehomed and are displaced forever.
