The Red Shed is an Animal Welfare & Education Provider.
It operates in two different ways:
1.) Fundraising Partner for 'under-funded, under-resourced and under-the-radar' shelters affected by: War/Conflict, Economic Hardships, Climate and Environmental Disasters and Extreme Conditions.
2.) Animal Welfare Education Provider of Online Courses and Classes.

E-LEARNING COURSE
ANIMAL WELFARE LEVEL 1
Mission:
- Deliver support and relief to managers, staff and volunteers of shelters where animals have been displace due to an extreme emergency situations.
- Collaborate with Animal Welfare Divisions across multiple regions to help build integrated edcucational services for communities struggling to care for local animals.
- Future: Create Red Shed Learning Programs in partnership with supported shelters in order to educate, inform and raise awareness of animal welfare issues .
Red Shed mission
The Red Shed was set up by Sandy Sheerin as a global social enterprise to fulfil the needs of animals adversely affected by weather conditions, conflict and extreme hardships that they may not survive.
Education Goal:
- To educate, inform and raise awareness to the general public on the work carried out in emergency rescue services for animals.
Red Shed Programs:
January 2024: Red Shed's first online Animal Welfare Volunteer Course launches.

The Red Shed assists animals who have been displaced, abandoned or neglected and are at risk due to adverse conditions.
Most animals are in need of the basics:
- Food
-Shelter
- Veterinary Care

Through our upcoming eLearning platform, we aim to help upcoming volunteers and rescue centres by delivering Animal Welfare courses.
All courses will be in line with current Animal Welfare issues.

We work with smaller shelters who are underfunded, under-resourced and under the radar of larger Animal Welfare Institutes or Organisations.
We help those who desperately need it most during extreme hardships by being able to get aid and assistance directly to them quickly.
